EU Behavioral Science Lab Training at Çanakkale Teknopark with LMU and COMU Collaboration

The second meeting of the European Union (EU) project “Skill Sets and Needs for Behavioral Science Lab” took place at Çanakkale Teknopark, in collaboration with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (COMU) and Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU). During the training session, Dr. Fredrik Allenmark conducted a comprehensive training on PsychoPy software, a crucial tool for Behavioral Sciences Laboratories. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Zhuanghua Shi provided insights into utilizing the latest AI technology for designing and analyzing behavioral and neuroscience studies. The training was met with enthusiastic positive feedback from attendees.

On May 24th, Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Rector of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Bil, General Manager of Çanakkale Teknopark, and experts from Ludwig Maximilian University gathered to deliberate on the project details. They reached an agreement to commence preparations for establishing a Behavioral Sciences Laboratory on the COMU campus. This pivotal initiative aims to elevate expertise in behavioral sciences and is expected to drive advanced projects through the collaborative efforts of Çanakkale Teknopark, COMU, and LMU. This partnership not only enhances the international standing of the university and Teknopark but also promises continued progress and innovation in the field.
